The Bruin Run/Walk is on Sunday, April 5th, 2009 and is an annual 5k event that raises money for the Child Life/Child Development program at the Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA. All proceeds from this event go directly to the hospital. We appreciate any and all contributions, and hope to see you all out there.
In addition to the 5k run/walk, there will also be live entertainment, free food and giveaways, a silent auction, and a Kids Korner! We have already confirmed a celebrity guest, Dakota Fanning! After the race, Dakota Fanning will be signing autographs. In addition, our Kids Korner will include Pun the Magician, face painting, arts and crafts, a hoola hoop class and a bounce house, so bring the whole family! One of our sponsors, Jamba Juice, will be selling products at the event, so please bring cash if interested. This is a family event, so feel free to bring everybody! However, UCLA has a no-pets policy on campus, so please leave your pets at home.
