NY Fashion Week Fall 09 kicked off yesterday at venues located throughout New York City. TSE, Monique Lhuillier and Peter Som were not officially a part of fashion week but they still had runway/special appointment shows available to buyers and a select number of guests. Here are some of my favorite looks from each collection.
TSE returned to its signature cashmere (appropriately returning to its roots for the 20th anniversary) and re-worked the material to include silhouettes that elongated bodies. Layers and draping were popular in this collection and redefines the versatility of cashmere.
